Called to Order

The special meeting was called to order at 9:07am by Chairman Chad Sandey.

BUSINESS/DISCUSSION:

Bid results for Sand Creek Drive and Twin Oak Circle Project: The purpose of the meeting was to review bids for Sand Creek Drive and Twin Oak Circle Project. Paperwork was provided by Matt Stordahl listing the Engineer’s estimates and Prior Lake Blacktop bids for comparison. Prior Lake Blacktop was the low bidder. Matt Stordahl reviewed the three qualifying bids and suggested we accept the bid from Prior Lake Blacktop. No further discussion. Motion by Chad that we accept Prior Lake Blacktop’s bid for $224,483.60, second by Bruce, Unanimous at 9:09am.

A phone call was made to Matt Stordahl to confirm approval of Prior Lake Blacktop. Matt informed the Board a notification will be sent to Prior Lake Blacktop from Stantec today (August 25^th). Prior Lake Blacktop will send the contract to Bob Ruppe for review. Once Bob approves, the contract will be signed by the Township Board. The Project will start mid-September and Prior Lake Blacktop crew will stay through to completion. Chad will call Bob Ruppe to inform him that a contract will be sent by Prior Lake Blacktop.

Motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:15am by Chad, second by Bruce, Unanimous.
