Matt explained there are regulations about wetlands, flood plains and septic systems. Chad noted there are multiple departments from Scott County have a required checklist of items to conform to the County Ordinances. Chad further explained that one developer intends to donate flood plain area to non-profit in nature and conservation related. Hentges intends to do wetland credit projects to enhance the flood plain area conditions. The Township is engaged in the process. There was further discussion about the development approval process. The County is still our planning and zoning authority. Peggy Jo asked for decisions to be made with care. Amy Bedeaux is asking for business owners to take responsibility for their garbage.
