Reorganizational Meeting Minutes

Officers Present

Chad Sandey, Bruce Hunstad (via Zoom), Lee Kes, Kevin Nordick, Maggie Gallentine and Emily Nordick

Called to Order

The meeting was called to order at 6:07pm by the Clerk. The Clerk asked for nominations for Chairman. Bruce nominated Chad Sandey, second by Lee. Motion by Bruce to have Chad Sandey as Chairman, second by Lee, Unanimous at 6:08pm.

The meeting continued with Chairman Chad Sandey conducting the meeting. The wages and service fees were discussed line by line and set as follows:

2023 Wages and Fees

Election Judges - $17.50 per hour

Motion by Chad to remain the same, second by Bruce, Unanimous at 6:11pm.

Head Election Judge - $20.00 per hour

Motion by Chad to remain the same, second by Lee, Unanimous at 6:12pm.

General Labor - $20.0 per hour

Motion by Chad to remain the same, second by Lee, Unanimous at 6:12pm.

Hand Held Power Equipment use - $15.00 per hour + any sharpening costs.

Motion by Chad to remain the same, second by Bruce, Unanimous at 6:13pm.

*Skid Loader use - $75.00 per hour

Motion by Chad to change (from $55) to $75, second by Bruce, Unanimous at 6:14pm.

Clerk - $900.00 per month + meetings + mileage + training

We need to make an effort to ensure billing of extra hours/activities is enforced for reimbursement.

Motion by Bruce, second by Chad, Unanimous at 6:22pm.

Deputy Clerk - $480.00 per month + meetings + mileage + training

Motion by Bruce, second by Chad, Unanimous at 6:31pm.

Treasurer - $480.00 per month + meetings + mileage + training

Motion by Chad, second by Bruce, Unanimous at 6:35pm.

Deputy Treasurer – hourly rate of $20.00 + meetings + mileage + training for 2 to 3 months

Road Tech - $60.00 per meeting + mileage with Labor at $20.00 per hour.

Chairman Salary - $360.00 per month

Motion by Bruce, second Chad, Unanimous at 6:47pm.

*Meetings for the immediate Board Supervisors, Clerk, Deputy Clerk and Treasurer - $80 for the first four hours, after four hours is another $80.

Motion by Chad to change (from $75) to $80, second by Lee, Unanimous at 6:50pm.

Mileage is .655 (cents) per mile per the IRS standard rate (effective May).

Maggie provided comparison wages from other Scott County Townships.

*Starred items were changed.

Motion to close the meeting by Chad, second by Bruce, Unanimous at 6:52pm.
