Board of Audit Minutes

Present: Chairman Chad Sandey, Supervisor Bruce Hunstad, Supervisor Bill Schneider, Treasurer Myron Pauly, Clerk Maggie Gallentine, Deputy Clerk Emily Nordick

The Board of Audit meeting was called to order by Chad Sandey at 6:53pm.

The 2021 Revenue and Expenses worksheet was presented by Myron, Treasurer, and Maggie, Clerk. The 2021 books have been balanced except for $0.01 which was based on a tax table within CTAS. The board reviewed the report.

There were inconsistencies in the Report.

Motion by Bruce to recess the meeting until Thursday, March 3^rd at 6:30pm when Maggie and Myron can compare accounts, second by Chad, Unanimous at 9:24pm.

Board of Audit meeting resumed on March 3^rd at 6:37pm.

Myron found that the first five entries were missed in the Schedule 1. He provided an updated Report.

Motion by Chad to recess the meeting until after the regular meeting, second by Bruce, Unanimous at 7:05pm.

Board of Audit meeting resumed on March 3^rd at 9:45pm.

The Board found all in order except for three (3) Receipts to the Park Fund from 2015, 2016, and 2017 at which time Myron was not Treasurer. Books were found to be in order except for these transactions.

Motion by Chad to accept the (Statement of Receipts, Disbursements and Balances) Schedule 1 year ending 2021, second by Bruce, Unanimous at 10:01pm.

Sand Creek Township Board of Audit Report for year ending 2021 (Statement of Receipts, Disbursements and Balances (Schedule 1)) as presented by the Treasurer and Clerk, has found the books to be accurate and balanced.

Motion by Chad to close the meeting, seconded by Bruce, Unanimous. Meeting closed at 10:02pm.
