Called to Order

The Special Meeting was called to order at 6:20pm by Chairman Chad Sandey.

Minutes

A prepared Resolution was read by Chairman Sandey to all who were present. The document reads: Local Agency Resolution Authorizing grant submittal to the Minnesota Department of Transportation Metro Local Partnership Program (dated May 29, 2019). Whereas, Sand Creek Township is the local road authority for roads identified in the Trunk Highway (TH) 169 Corridor Improvements Project (“Project”) in Sand Creek Township, Minnesota, Count of Scott, and Whereas, the Project includes improvement to the Trunk Highway System; and Whereas, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is soliciting applications for the Metro Local Partnership Program for projects that provide direct benefits to the State’s Trunk Highway System; Now Therefore, be it resolved by the Sand Creek Township Board, that Sand Creek Township supports the application to the Metro Local Partnership Program for Trunk Highway 169 Corridor Improvement Project and to lead the project if selected for funding.

A Motion to accept the Resolution as read was Unanimous at 6:21pm

Motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:29pm was Unanimous.
