General Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th.
Q: When do elections begin?
A: Absentee voting for the General Election begins September 20 and runs through November 4th.
Q: How and where can you vote?
A: You can vote by mail by applying online for an absentee ballot through the Office of the Secretary of State at
https://www.sos.state.mn.us/elections-voting/other-ways-to-vote
or complete an absentee ballot application and return to us (Scott County) by mail or email. Return details are listed
on the back of the application located at https://www.scottcountymn.gov/677/Elections (select"Absentee Voting" from the drop-down options).
A: You can choose to vote in person by absentee (early): Any Scott County voter can cast their ballot between September 20 and November 4
at the Scott County Public Works facility (600 Country Trail E, Jordan). There will not be in-person voting at the Government Center.
A: You can choose to vote in person on General Election Day. Polls are open from 7am to 8pm.
